INSTALLING THE SCANNER
You must install the scanner before opening Scan Edit in the Main Menu. In this chapter you’ll learn to:
Install the scanner
1. To install the scanner, first plug the power cord into a 110 VAC outlet.
2. Use the cable provided to connect the scanner to your computer. The 25-pin male end connects to the back of the scanner and the 9-pin female end connects to the com port of your computer.
3. Turn on the power on switch located on the rear panel of the scanner.
